Genesys Works is
pleased to announce a key addition to its leadership team to support its
rapid growth and increase its capacity to change the lives of
economically disadvantaged high school students in the Twin Cities.
Andrea
Satter will serve in the newly-created position of Director of
Development for Genesys Works – Twin Cities. Most recently, Andrea was
responsible for development and fundraising activities for Coffee House
Press, a nonprofit literary publisher and arts organization, and prior
to that, served as development director for Free Arts Minnesota. Her
talent for building strong relationships and executing on high-impact
development plans will be of great value to Genesys Works as it expands
the breadth and depth of its programming.
"We are thrilled to have Andrea join our growing team and lead our
development efforts as we look to greatly increase the number of
students we can help guide on a path towards college and career success"
said Jeff Tollefson, Executive Director. "I have known and respected
Andrea for a number of years and am excited that she will now be putting
her abundant talents and energy to work on behalf of the students we so
proudly serve.”
Andrea is long-time advocate for leadership and education and the
current chair of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation
board. She has also held leadership roles with arts, civic, education,
and corporate organizations such as Genesis II for Families, BestPrep,
and Special Olympics of Minnesota.
